Frog Pond Wetland Preserve Trail Review

Hello! It has been a while since my last post. My weekend was filled with fun, exciting and great family adventure. This time we took our children to the Monterey Aquarium, relaxed at our vacation home that I participated in the Airbnb at Seaside, hiked a short trail at the preserve and ended our trip at the beach near Fisherman’s Warf.

In this blog, I want to review the hiking trail that I took my family and it is at the Frog Pond Wetland Preserve that is located in Seaside, California. The Preserve is part of the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District.

The Frog Pond Wetland Preserve has a few short trails that are easy for everyone. The trail was easy for my toddlers. Fresh forest scent and morning spring filled the air. Amazing growing horsetail are on the verge of blooming, wild flowers are beautiful, and a few plants that looked scary are not touched. There were large vines crawled up an old tree and tall vast trees goes up above our heads. The scenery were beautiful. My favorite was the walk through of the trees. It’s so nice and magical. I’m so glad we came early in the season before mosquito show up, otherwise we’ll be food to them.

I would recommend this trail to anyone who loves preservation and wildlife education or just a short easy hike. Until my next hike, let me know where you hike to in the comments below. I would love to know where you went.

Happy Hiking!
